Regional Business Development Manager – Learning Difficulties.

Nationwide Opportunities – Circa £45,000 to £55,000 with bonus, car allowance and benefits. 

This is a great opportunity to be part of an exciting future in one of the UK’s largest and most experienced providers of health and social care – since its formation in 1982, our client has built on an excellent reputation for the provision of high quality tailor-made service solutions, including residential, community, specialist, primary and secondary care – with ambitious growth plans in the UK to meet demand and the needs of individuals, the company now aims to build upon its solid base and therefore seeks Regional Business Managers. 

The Role:

  • Reporting to the Managing Director as part of the senior management team you will have the ability to identify new opportunities and have the commercial acumen to develop business models to access these markets
  • To identify the key relationships within the sector, such as Local Social Services, NHS Trusts, Primary Care Trusts and other organisations that ensures the profile of my client is at the fore-front of their commissioning decisions
  • This individual will contribute to the delivery of the Annual Operating Plan and development of the business, delivering year on year growth and capitalising on future growth opportunities by creating a culture where continuous learning and development are encouraged and valued. 

The Candidate:

  • Of graduate calibre, preferably in a commercail or healthcare discipline, the appointee will have experience in successfully developing business opportunities and sales growth within the Learning Difficulties/Mental Healthcare business sectors
  • The successful candidate will be an all-round leader with proven experience of liasing with Local Social Services, NHS Trusts and Primary Care Trusts  and will have worked in , or have experience of, the social care sector
  • This person will have good commercial awareness and business acumen, capable of analysing the regional market, identifying business opportunities, creating business plans and implementing strategy.
