Area Sales Manager - £60K OTE – Industrial Electronics/ Automation. 

A large global organisation in the Industrial Electronics/ Automation market, widely thought to be one of the best employers in the industry are currently looking to recruit. They have a brand name and profile which is instantly recognisable for the highest quality, innovation and service. The business is now entering a growth phase and is looking to grow an already established team. 

Key responsibilities of the position:

  • To develop sales revenue of an existing territory, from both established customer business and new business opportunities.
  • To drive sales growth from initial contact through successful order close and to ongoing customer account management.
  • Follow-up sales enquiries promptly and effectively.
  • Understand and present our product/service mix with a strong emphasis on value not price.
  • To embrace the company’s CRM system in all aspects of the role.
  • Supporting and driving territory-based marketing initiatives.
  • To report on customer, market and competitor activities in regular monthly territory report. 

Secondary responsibilities: 

  • To attend training and to personally develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
  • Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment.
  • To attend and present at external customer events and internal meetings.  

You will be taking an established area on the East side of the country and will be responsible for growing the business within the region.
