Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities in the South East region of the UK. The role involves selling our range of security guarding and manned security services to potential clients, building strong relationships, and delivering tailored security solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the South East region, focusing on industries such as retail, commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to understand their security requirements and position our services effectively.
  3. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets and drive revenue growth.
  4. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and opportunities.
  5. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and negotiations to secure new contracts.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of services and exceed client expectations.
  7. Keep abreast of industry developments, regulations, and best practices to continuously enhance our offerings and competitive advantage.

Requirements:

  1. Proven track record of success in business development, ideally within the security industry.
  2. Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and achieve targets.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  4. Knowledge of security guarding and manned security services is highly desirable.
  5. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  7. Flexibility to travel within the South East region as needed.
