Are you an experienced Underground support manager in mining, with success in understanding the customer's existing support plans and product utilisation?

Does a new role for this company, to handle and coordinate ground support related issues and queries with the aim of troubleshooting, identifying new opportunities and introducing new/better suited products as required, appeal to you for your next challenge?

This role will be working for a large, global recognised underground mining contractor with a track record of working on some of the worlds most iconic mining sites and act as the key client liaison on site managing all the contractors' operations.

Key responsibilities for this role include

- Quality, health and safety and environment. Complying with all policies, taking steps to ensure all employees are provided with and adhere to a safe working environment.

- Customer service and support - product control issue management, underground visits , organise sales meetings, supply chain

- Reporting -ad hoc reports, technical publications

- Product performance - ensure customer satisfaction is being met, checking of standards and assist in quality investigations as required.

The successful person will have qualifications in Mining Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or related disciplines preferably- ideally degree/equivalent level, as well as strong Microsoft Office products, and demonstrated ability to relate geotechnical performance to ground support mechanics.

Expat applications encouraged, site allowance and travel allowance paid, as well as pension contribution.

Proven successful experience in managing multiple departments a must, in an underground mine environment.
