We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Vice President of Process Engineering to lead our battery materials manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for the entire process engineering lifecycle, from developing and scaling up new processes to optimizing existing ones. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality and safety standards.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience in a senior leadership role within the battery chemical industry or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of chemical processes, materials, and technologies relevant to battery chemical production.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards in chemical manufacturing.

Role Requirements:

Process Optimization

  • Lead the development and implementation of efficient and cost-effective chemical processes involved in battery manufacturing.
  • Continuously analyze and optimize existing chemical processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and sustainability.

Technology Integration

  • Evaluate and incorporate new chemical technologies into the battery chemical manufacturing process to improve performance, reduce environmental impact, and enhance cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with research and development teams to transfer new chemical processes from the lab to large-scale production.

Quality Assurance

  • Establish and enforce rigorous quality control measures for chemical processes to ensure the production of high-quality and consistent battery materials.
  • Implement testing protocols and standards throughout the chemical production process.

Capacity Planning

  • Work closely with operations and supply chain teams to develop capacity planning strategies for chemical production to meet the demands of battery manufacturing.
  • Analyze production data and trends to anticipate future capacity needs and recommend optimization measures.

Team Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing chemical process engineering team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with other departments, including research and development, operations, and quality control, to ensure seamless integration of chemical processes.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to align chemical engineering strategies with overall business goals.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, environmental standards, and safety guidelines for chemical processes.
  • Stay informed about evolving regulations and proactively implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.

Cost Management

  • Develop and manage budgets for chemical process engineering initiatives.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to optimize resource utilization in chemical production.
