Case 1 – Civil Engineer
Challenge: We were seeking a highly skilled engineer with direct experience of heavy engineering and construction. This person would ordinarily come from one of our competitors. However we did not want to take from our competition and instructed Core to find individuals from aligned and allied markets.
Outcome: Core delivered a search campaign coupled with an advertising campaign in The Daily Telegraph. An accurate shortlist of 3 candidates was presented in the required time scale. We offered two people and one accepted and has been an extremely successful appointment.
Case 2 – Lead Mechanical Engineer
Challenge: We required someone with both design and project management skills to oversee all aspects of a complex build project. A short time scale was imperative.
Outcome: A search campaign delivered a short list of 3 candidates within two weeks. One of these was offered and accepted within 2 weeks of meeting. Again this has proved to be a highly successful appointment.
